Work is continuing on various organs around Washington state that have seen recent damage from construction activities. In all cases the instruments were not adequately protected or were inadvernetly damaged by workers who were not aware of vital organ systems and components.
Repairs to the Marceau organ of Ft. Lewis main post chapel have been completed and all of the organ is once again playing after dust had silenced many unenclosed reed stops. A damaged wind line was also repaired as were a couple of dented facade pipes from scaffolding.
